The 256x256 image was extracted from the icon image using GIMP and saved as a separate image in order to produce this.
If we want to reduce redundancy in the repo by reading in the icon and extracting the image, I think we can do this. There seem to be a proliferation of PNG2ICO-style tools in npm and none that do the reverse, so it would require a bit of digging around.
