TomTom Examples

This repository contains example applications demonstrating the usage of TomTom's Maps and Navigation SDK for Android.

Available Examples

• Android example app: A fully functional Android example app with Demos to showcase the usage of the Maps and Navigation SDK.
• AAOS example app: An Android Automotive app highlighting various features of the Maps and Navigation SDK that uses data from the vehicle.

Before Starting

Make sure you have configured your TomTom API Key in the project!

Get your TomTom API key from my.tomtom.com by selecting the Maps and Navigation SDK for Android in the Product catalog.

Store the TomTom API key to a project property in your gradle.properties file. Replace api_key_placeholder with the actual TomTom API key:

tomtomApiKey=api_key_placeholder

You are now ready to build and run the examples!
