Annoyingly I cannot just put the requirement in the pyproject.toml but instead I have to set the restriction when installing hatch in the workflow file. Similarly if you want to fix this locally, you have to make sure yourself that hatch and click are installed properly. Once the click patch comes out: pallets/click#3068 a new install would likely take the newest patch at which point the restriction I put in this MR is still valid, but less necessary. I would have like Hatch put this restriction in it's own requirements but it seems they are waiting on Click for the fix: pypa/hatch#2050 (comment) |
