The problem I'm trying to solve with this script:
Dropbox (and other cloud services) provides a relatively small amount of storage space (as compared to local storage). I would like to backup a copy of my photos onto dropbox, but keeping them at native resolution would use all my space quickly (RAW images can be 30-40mb each).
Features: Picasa support RAW (CR2) support
Requirements:
Imagemagick (specifically the "convert" utility) Linux based computer (like a Mac)
Tested on: Mac OS 10.7, 10.8
To run: Edit the script and add the location to your pictures folder and the folder you want to backup to (Dropbox folder)
