This PR will document the new field testing being done in PR tripal/tripal#2133 and also address a few other outstanding doc issues while I'm at it. Specifically,

  • Confirm the links for automated testing still work and are relevant.
  • Document how to test different chado schema versions
  • Ensure docs for using a prepared chado instance are current
  • Add some resources and test from Issue Using a Prepared Chado DB in automated testing. #13.
  • Add some resources from Issue Resources for Functional Testing #64
  • Piece out resources by the type of test.
  • Document the new field testing: FieldType CRUD.
  • Document the new field testing: Widget.
  • Document the new field testing: Formatter.
