Improvements

  • let appVersion set build tag, will help clear up confusion and set a lot to build the most recent release by default

i tested every one of these to make sure they matched, for the ones that did not match i tested, a few were left unchanged

its odd to me this value is set in 2 places, if you have a better way to address please let me know
