with wave you can kill the cac before starting the climb. With spazer, or plasma, you can kill it once your feet are barely off screen (still typically take 1 hit)

I see. With either Wave or Spazer you can kill the Cac safely with horizontal shots (at a height below where the projectiles would hit you). With power beam, there is a height where it only takes one X-ray stand-up to move from being crouched safely to being standing and able to shoot the Cac; and that seems good enough to ensure you take at most 1 hit of damage.

With wave or spazer you can hit it before it can hit you.
Without you can still minimize hits: once your as high as you can go without getting hit, wait for the cac to not be shooting, do one more stand up and crouch to be higher but still not in the path of spikes, then after it shoots again do one more stand up and turnaround and shoot the cac. Should only take 0-1 hit even with bad luck

Actually, this would need to be tested. I didn't know how to right side doorstuck, so I used direct g-mode. With a normal stuck, you might start too high already.

Right, you start high enough that you are already vulnerable to the Cac. But even with power beam you can kill it quickly enough to only take one hit (or none, if lucky).

Value check. Blue suit can crouch jump and Flash suit is lost from Xray.
