TODO: Written instructions & Pictures
- When using the recommended stamped-steel case, ensure that you attach the 4x brass standoffs to the Pi before inserting it into the case
- Attach cooling unit and fan cable
- Attach RTC battery and affix to lid (wires should be long enough to set the lid upside-down next to the case)
- TODO: Still determining overall height, so the upper brass standoffs will likely change
- Solder together the HAT
- Still figuring out if female headers are a good idea. If not, need to put down kapton tape to prevent bottom of breakout boards from shorting on the prototyping board.
- Draw the rest of the owl
- Break off the tabs in two holes in the case to mount the SMA connectors
- Easiest to attach uFL connectors to board before inserting into case
- Screw on SMA connectors to case (hopefully we've still got clearance to fit them)
- Reassemble case, minding the various wires and cables to avoid pinching
- Attach antennas
- Insert SD card with Pi OS
- ???
- Profit!
TODO: Custom case, custom board?
