Camera Mode

Free-Camera mode allows user to view the city freely from a first-person perspective.
- Press ` to start.
- Navigate the city freely using mouse (rotate) and keys (move).
- Press E to toggle Auto moving, which moves the camera forward automatically. Hold down Mouse Secondary button to pause the movement.
- The Ground clipping option [Options Panel > Camera Options > Free-Camera Mode Options] can be changed so that the camera is prevented from getting under ground, or being forced to stick just above ground.
In Follow mode, the camera follows the view of the selected person or vehicle.
- After clicking on any citizen, tourist, or driving vehicles, click on the camera button at the bottom right of the Info panel to start.
If you have already followed any targets above in Vanilla follow view, you can also press Shift + ` to start.
- Use keyboard to adjust the camera offset.
- Move the mouse to rotate the camera.
- Press \ to save the current camera settings (position offset and rotation) as the type setting.
Each type of vehicle/human has its own type setting.
- Press Shift + ` to follow the target in Vanilla way.
In Walk-Through mode, the camera randomly follows any people or vehicles in the city. Essentially a variation of the follow mode.
- Press Ctrl + ` to start.
Another way is Open Main Panel, then click "Start Walk-Through".
- The camera will follow a random target until the period for each random target [Options Panel > Camera Options > Camera Controls] runs out, and it goes on with the next random target.
- If the Manual Target Switch option is enabled, the target won't switched until the Mouse Secondary button is clicked or the target disappears.
- Wiki may not be updated frequently and not match the latest version.
- Any text referring to key mappings refers to the default settings. Feel free to adjust these settings in the Options Panel > Key Mappings.
- The naming of mod features, and other related terms, are based on English. If you are using a translator, please pay attention to the difference from in-game text.
