Here are some solutions to common problems that have occurred before. In general, if you can't solve a problem, contact a former computer engineer. Some former engineers are listed here with most recent first:

In case of a power outages, follow these steps to the best of your ability:
- Go to the transmitter.
- Ensure that the transmitter and exciter are on.
- Ensure that the transmitter computer is on. Backup automation and transmitter management software should start automatically.
- Go to the station.
- Turn on all of the "Program 1" buttons on the sound board. Every single one of them.
- Turn on Jemaine and Bret (the RAID arrays).
- Restart John. John should mount Bret and start archiving automatically.
- Restart George the Web server. George will mount Jemaine through John.
- Restart Automatrix. When Automation, DJ Studio, and Cart Machine initialize, they should be able to load tracks if ZAutoLib is mounted to the network.
- If the station has been down for more than 4 hours, play the Sign On cart. In DJ Studio, search "psa", it should be first on the list.
- Start Automation.
NOTE: For some reason I haven't been able to make George mount Archibald and ZAutoLib during boot. Whenever I try, George just hangs. So anytime you restart George you will need to mount these drives manually. The commands to do this can be found in the home directory inside mount_commands.
- Reboot George and John using
sudo reboot. - Run the commands listed inside
mount_commandson George. - If you encounter errors, try running
umountinside/var/www/JemaineandJohn. - If this further does not fix the error, try manually power-ing off John and pressing the power buttons on the RAID drives.
