Cedar includes optional web search capabilities powered by Exa. When enabled, AI models can search the web for current information, recent articles, and up-to-date facts during conversations.
To enable web search, add your Exa AI API key to your environment variables:
EXA_API_KEY=your_exa_api_key_hereOnce configured, the web search toggle will appear in the chat interface. The feature is automatically available to all AI models when enabled for a conversation.
