Metadata
These are the metadata fields commonly used for the TAEP Digital Edition and their definitions:
A name given to the resource.
A bibliographic reference for the resource.

A summary of the resource.
An entity primarily responsible for making the resource.
An agent that receives a communication document.
A related resource.
A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource. Format is yyyy-mm-dd.
Temporal characteristics of the resource.
The nature or genre of the resource.
The topic of the resource. Skip to subject list
A related resource in which the described resource is physically or logically included.
A related resource from which the described resource is derived.
An unambiguous reference to the resource within a given context.
Universal Resource Identifier of a document
Information about rights held in and over the resource.
An entity responsible for making the resource available.
Date of creation of the resource. This the same information as the Date field, but makes the date searchable.
A related resource that is a version, edition, or adaptation of the described resource.
An account of the resource.
An unambiguous reference to the resource within a given context.
A related resource that is substantially the same as the pre-existing described resource, but in another format.
[NOTE FOR TEAM: Joan mentioned to me that some of the terms refer to different information depending on the sites (such as "HasVersion" for the Notebook collections versus the main collection). Can someone review the resource templates with me one more time to point out any metadata terms that need distinct descriptions for different resource templates?]
A plain text representation of the content of a resource.
A transcription of a resource.
A translation of a resource. [NOTE FOR TEAM: Are there any translated documents in TAEP or are they all in English?]
