treated in the UI, using the spring:message tag with htmlScape set to true. The .js involced that are commited are the developer versions. If it is decided to apply this solution, it would be better to include the minified versions of both files. (jquery-1.11.1.min.js and jquery-migrate-1.2.1.min.js).
