Mandarins are a citrus tree fruit added by Click For Hot Chicks.
When grown, a mandarin tree will generate with some "normal" leaves, as well as fruit leaves, which actually grow fruit. Fruiting leaves can be right-clicked to harvest 1-2 pomelo items from them, which reverts the leaves back to stage 0.
Fruiting mandarin leaves can be harvested with shears, and used to build custom trees or grafts.
Mandarin trees occasionally generate naturally in extreme hills biomes (biome dictionary type: mountain, excluding hot). Mandarin trees are small and compact, with several "pads" of leaves, similar to vanilla acacia trees.
Eating a mandarin restores 2 hunger and 0.1 hunger saturation.
Placing a mandarin into a composter has a 65% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
Mandarins, like most other crops, can be used to breed villagers.
Mandarins are a wild ancestor citrus fruit. Their seeds can be used in crafting domestic hybrid trees. To craft hybrid citrus fruit, combine two types of citrus seed in the crafting bench.
