Peppers are a crop added by Click For Hot Chicks.
Peppers are considered a bush crop, which means they can be planted on dirt or grass. They do not need farmland or water to grow.
Peppers are harvested by right-clicking them, after which they return to an earlier crop stage instead of breaking. Mature pepper bushes yield 1-2 peppers when harvested by the player, which can then be eaten or used in cooking.
Pepper bushes come in four variants: yellow, orange, red, and multicolor. The color of a mature pepper bush is random, but will always stay the same between harvests. The color of a pepper bush doesn't affect the item, and is purely aesthetic.
As a bush crop, peppers are vulnerable to damage from animals.
Wild pepper bushes have a chance to generate in jungle and forest biomes (biome dictionary type: jungle; or forest, excluding savanna, coniferous, jungle, wet).
Eating peppers restores 3 hunger and 0.2 hunger saturation.
Placing peppers into a composter has a 65% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
Peppers, like most other crops, can be used to breed villagers.
Peppers can be used in cooking several food items.
