Movement

Composes a category of skills focussing on maneuvering through the terrain while climbing, swimming, crawling or even flying through wilderness areas.

It may be necessary for a certain character to pass a sturdiness or dexterity check and also consult their size and weight class, in order to successfully perform a movement action. A heavy weighted character will more likely need to succeed on strength, while a difficult terrain will have them rely on dexterity. Failing a check might however also involve consequences up to a lethal harm. The narrator should coincide with the group about difficulty class, speed and distance of the movement.

When considering a bonus, the narrator should either allow for adding the bonus to the die roll whenever there are no other talent bonuses involved or otherwise determine the distance and speed aligned to a base value and bonuses

Climbing

[ACTION] A character making use of this movement action can move along a vertical environment like a cliff, wall or building, up to a certain distance. Movement might however be limited by a character’s size and weight class

Swimming

[ACTION] A character making use of this movement action can move inside a certain liquid environment like a river, sea, or the ocean, up to a certain distance. This also involves diving and moving underwater, not just the surface. Movement might however be limited by a character’s size and weight class

Floating

[ACTION] A character making use of this movement action can move in an environment with an unusual gravity like up in the air or in space. This also involves flying whenever the character rides a mount or has a similar ability. This skill is however limited to characters not being grounded and movement might also be limited by a character’s size and weight class
