Composes a category of skills focussing on the environment and puts characters to the role of travelers and survival specialists both in the wilderness and in dealing with others on their journey. They devote as much effort to mastering the use of a variety of skills as they do to perfecting their interaction with the environment. These characters have less direct methods of attack and so focus on avoiding critical threats and instead prefer to attack from ambush

Ranged-Mastery

A character proficient in ranged weapon mastery adds a bonus to their attack and damage die rolls whenever damage is determined by a ranged weapon, equal to this skill’s proficiency level

Heightened Senses

A character with heightened senses adds a bonus to their perception checks, equal to this skill’s proficiency level

Observation

A character with an improved observation skill adds a bonus to their insight checks, equal to this skill’s proficiency level

Preparation

[ACTION] A character making use of this action may compose appropriate ingredients to consumables. Those ingredients are usually depleted in the process of composition, regardless of the outcome.

It may be necessary for the character to pass a sturdiness, dexterity, or cognition check in order to determine the outcome of the composition. This depends on the desired item and quality. A filigree or difficult receipt will more likely require dexterity, while more sensitive ingredients will rely on experience and education. The narrator should therefore decide on the specific case and the right place for this skill
