Handling

[ACTION] A character making use of this action can control or command a mechanical- or living entity. This skill however is limited to less sophisticated targets like constructs, animals, plants but also mechanisms, and entities of similar categories. This does not just focus on controlling or commanding per se but may also involve communicating with sophisticated individuals in a partial verbal or non-verbal way in order to request information.

It may be necessary for the character to pass a cognition, volition or charisma check in order to determine the overall outcome. This heavily depends on the case and desired outcome. An unhinged or aggressive animal will more likely require charisma, interacting with a mechanical construct will rely on ingenuity. The narrator should therefore go into close communication with the character using this skill.

The knowledge and awareness of creatures is limited by their cognition attribute, but at minimum, they can provide information about nearby locations and characters, including whatever they can perceive or have perceived within the past day. It is, however, up to the narrator's discretion what information they can provide
